Tesla Joins Automakers Temporarily Decreasing Production Due to Semiconductor Shortage

Tesla Inc., the American electric vehicle company, has joined other U.S. automobile makers in slowing down production due to the semiconductor chip shortage hitting countries globally.

While this cut back on production isn’t for every model, the Model 3, which debuted in 2017, has seen production drops in the last few weeks. A production plant in Fremont, CA, is expected to halt production for a few weeks between February 22nd to March 7th.
